Affiliation Rules

Any Institution desirous of affiliation to Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith will first be given allotment of examination centre and after running examination Centre for 5 years, the institution will be eligible to apply for affiliation.

 

Requisites for opening an examination centre

1.     An institution having completed 2 years of teaching Hindustan Classical Music (Vocal, Instrumental and Dance) according to the syllabus of Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith, Lucknow and having minimum 35 students will be eligible to apply for examination centre on prescribed from which is obtainable from the office of Registrar, Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith, Kaiserbagh, Lucknow on payment of Rs. 15.00

2.     In case the Executive Committee of Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith is satisfied with the particulars furnished in the Application Form, an officer will be deputed to inspect the Institution.

3.     Regarding inspection, the Centre will have to bear the following expenses of the officer sent by Vidyapith:

a.     Two A.C. 2 – tier railway fare and half of single A/C. 2 – tier fare as incidental charges.

b.     Boarding and lodging and other local hospitalities.

4.     A fee of Rs. 500/- by DD favoring Vice President, Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith.

5.     If the Executive Committee of Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith finds the inspection report, including all the records of the centre, satisfactory, the examination centre will be allotted.

 

Requisites for affiliation

1.     After running examination centre for 5 years, as per requisites given above, Centre may apply for affiliation on specified proforma which is obtainable from the office of Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith, Kaiserbagh, Lucknow, on payment of Rs. 20/- by M.O. or Draft.

2.     If the executive committee of Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith is satisfied with the particulars furnished in the affiliation proforma.

3.     The officers of the Vidyapith shall have the right to visit the affiliated institutions as and when necessary, and will be allowed to have access to all their requisites in that connection.

4.     The institution concerned will be required to send regular reports about the progress and end of each academic year.

5.     If any affiliated institution fails to send up candidates for the examination for two consecutive years, the affiliation of such an institution shall consist of persons recognized as qualified teachers by the Vidyapith and will be required to be approved by the Vidyapith.

6.     Any student of an affiliated institution shall be eligible to join the other affiliated institution on producing the necessary T.C. certificate from the head of the institution which he last attended.

7.     The annual examination or an affiliated institution shall be conducted by an under the supervision of the Vidyapith.

8.     On the recommendation of the affiliation committee, the Executive Council may suspend or withdraw the privilege of affiliation granted to any institution which fails to abide by the aforesaid rules, provided that no such action be taken without allowing the Committee of management of such affiliated institution an opportunity of making such representation, as it may deem fit to the Executive Council through the affiliation Committee.

9.     Any institution whose privilege of affiliation has been suspended or withdrawn may re-apply for affiliation at a later stage, as and when it and to follow these rules.

10.   Apart from the rules given above or made later on in this connection, the affiliated institution will be informed in due course, the affiliated institution will be at liberty to select their own managing committee and may charge any tuition fees from their students they deem fit.
